Minister of Sports, Nii Lante Vanderpuye, has disclosed that Nana Ansah Kwao IV betrayed him by marrying Gifty Anti, now Oheneyire Awo Dansoa.
According to him, he had no idea that the Chief of Adumasa and host of That’s My Opinion on Joy FM was going to marry the renowned television personality.
The Royal Wedding, on October 15, received huge media attention in Ghana.
It was attended by some of Ghana’s A list personalities including former President John Agyekum Kufuor, former minister Hackman Owusu Agyeman and Dzifa Abla Gomashie, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts.
Six months after the wedding, it looks as if the Sports Minister has some scores to settle with Nana Ansah Kwao IV.
Speaking on Personality Profile on Joy FM with Lexis Bill Thursday night, Mr Vanderpuye said he felt betrayed by Nana Ansah Kwao.
Nana Ansah Kwao “has betrayed me,” he disclosed and added that “He did not tell me he was going to marry my younger sister Gifty Anti.”
